Technology skills and economic opportunity

Golden Tech Workforce & Education, Inc. (GTWE) is a New York 501(c)(3) nonprofit developing technology education, workforce training, and financial literacy for underserved New York City residents.

Our approach connects practical learning, guided exercises, and career preparation to help people build confidence and take their next step toward employment or further education.

Training interest is open. All listed courses are planned; no confirmed cohorts are currently announced for enrollment. Course schedules, duration, delivery format, eligibility, fees, and any assistance will be confirmed before enrollment.

Learning through practice

Planned courses connect instruction with guided exercises, simulated scenarios, and projects. Specific activities, tools, prerequisites, certification preparation, and career guidance will vary by course. Share your preferred in-person or online format using the Training Interest form.

Initial pilot results

Eight people participated in a pre-assessment. Three continued into training, and those three were subsequently hired.

These results reflect a small initial group. Employment, earnings, and certification outcomes are not guaranteed. GTWE plans to track participation, skills development, completion, and employment progress as programs expand.

Help build opportunity

Our $500,000 three-year fundraising plan supports the proposed Harlem Cybersecurity and Economic Mobility Lab and practical training pathways: $100,000 to launch, an additional $200,000 to expand, and an additional $200,000 to sustain.
